Incoming / Outgoing set ups in details

Hi @tony

Thank you. After refreshing the page, the error disappeared.

After struggling a bit, I manager to run my agent to pass the summary back to my appsheet app using outgoing message functinality. Yes, this is bit confusing and really hard to understand how to set them up to fit my own needs.

I tick off “Need numan approval to run”, leavin unselected.
My assumption was the agent run through all of the step/task without me getting involved However, I still need to vist my task page and need to hit “Yes” button manually. How can we skipp this manual step?

This is just a feedback, why I found it is difficult to set up Agent.

  • While I have a concreate idea and goal to achieve, it is difficult to gude myself from where we get started.

  • Once we get some sort of knowledge about Thunk, still difficult which path we should take for next.

  • If the Agent not working as I wish after testing with dummy data, then we do not know where it is wrong and where we vist to change the config. No self-guide.

  • As Tony mentioned in his last video for me, it looks like Agent works bit aggressively. We expected the agent just does make a summary, but it translate into other language etc.

Those are some points why I found myself difficult to deal with (as complete beginner and first visitor to the platform)

Hope this helps.

Sorry for bothering Tony, but any advice over this qurey?

Oops, I’m sorry @Koichi_Tsuji I accidentally dropped the thread. There’s likely a bug in the UI that broke the checkbox. Let me push a fix for that and get back to you soon.

@Koichi_Tsuji Yes, there is a UI bug.

To unblock you, I’ve directly edited your Thunk in the database so you no longer need a user to click “Yes” for the tool to run.

Please try again, and I’ll share an update when I push a fix for the UI bug.

Thank you Tony. Let me test and revert

OK, pushed the UI change. The checkbox should now be working.

Agent run through to the end without me getting involed, so fix seems to be working. (Could see the summary in AppSheet after a while).
However, check the table (data) in Thunk. This newly added record is not showing up. This seems to be another glitch.

Which record didn’t show up?

The last record sent through incoming message.

Hmm, interesting. I can see it in my view. If you refresh the page do you see it? Or maybe it’s scrolled off screen?

@tony

Thank you. I refreshed my page and now i could see the newly added row. Very strange.

Sounds like a bug on our side, I will look into it.
