Unless I’m missing something (which is very possible), currently we can only view properties from the Input/Output Properties lists of a step or in the record menu.
It would be great to have a dedicated page/area in the Thunk that’s purely a list of all properties – their names, data types, descriptions, and basically all information about them (hopefully all editable!).
Hi Rachel. Thank you for posting this. It’s a great question. There is a list of all of the properties and it is listed under what is labeled the “state” view. It’s on the plan page up in the top right corner. It doesn’t show the data type, but it does have the name and the description.
Check it out and see if that’s what you’re looking for. I’ll add an item to add the data type to the view, because it’s a good addition to that view.
If you want to see just the property definitions — that’s what @Jen_ThunkAI described
If you want to see the properties and all their values for a workitem, you can see it in the table view, and there’s also a mode in the table view to see the details of the selected row (click on the “flashlight” icon at the start of the row)
When you are working with a specific row in an AI step but want to see/edit all the properties (not just the result props), there is an edit icon at the bottom that opens up a form with all the values (some are grungy to edit though)
Also, when you click on each entry, it opens up a pane with all the details about that column — data type, constraints, description, etc.
Another FYI is that you can also access the list of columns via the tabular view. If you hover over the column header, it’ll show a menu handle and that has the column definition. It also lets you add and delete columns. One other nice thing is that you can even drag to reorder columns here.
