where do i get this? im only using thunk to connect with gsheets i also canty see what the limits are, i just want to use thunk and happy to keep within limits

If you go to Thunk and tab to the AI Models tab, you’ll see the option to put in your OpenAI API key. You can get that from OpenAI directly.
I’d advise also that you set your default model (also a tab on your Thunk.AI Account page) to gpt-4.1-mini to keep the costs an order of magnitude lower. The free tier you are on will allow prototyping, but you will not have access to the capabilities that enable higher reliability and scalability (in particular, there’s limits on the number of workitems processed, etc).
If your goal is to use Thunk.AI to automate something that isn’t a prototype one-off but you want to automate something that is more of a regular business process, then please let us know. That’s what we support and the platform is meant for. We’d be glad to help you
